Life is a roller coaster
Or so they say
But I say, that it couldn’t
Be farther from the truth

Roller coasters are fun
Planned
You always see
What lies ahead

Life is depressing
Unexpected
And there is never a sign
Of what is to come

Roller coasters end too soon
Fast
Give you a thrill and
An adrenaline rush

Life seems to never end
Agonizing
One pointless moment
Follows another one

Roller coasters a choice
Amazing
A right of passage
A temporary high

Life is thrust upon you
Never ending
It’s a time to learn and
It’s a time to hurt

In short, Roller coasters
And life, are not the same
They begin and end in
Separate ways

Life goes on for eternity
A roller coaster corrodes
And is eventually torn down
But life is not that simple.
